FAQ

What is WE’s mission?

WECHANGE aims to amplify community voices, spark dialogue, and inspire real action on the social issues shaping our lives.

Our mission is to create honest, community-led spaces where people can question, connect, and co-create change. Through storytelling, strategic communication, and grassroots engagement, we work to make social equity, climate action, and education part of everyday conversations, and solutions.

Where does our funding come from?

WECHANGE is funded through a mix of funding sources, including:

  • grants from foundations and social impact programmes,
  • partnerships with organisations aligned with our values
  • European and international funding bodies, including Erasmus+
  • project-based support for specific initiatives.
How can we collaborate?

We’re open to collaborating with community groups, artists, educators, organisations, activists, researchers, and anyone who wants to drive real social impact.

Collaboration can take many forms: co-created workshops, storytelling projects, research initiatives, creative media campaigns, local activations, or long-term partnerships.

If you have an idea, a story, or an issue you want to explore together, reach out. WECHANGE grows through collective energy.

Which areas does WE focus on?

WECHANGE works across three core areas:

  • Social Equity – justice, inclusion, rights, and lived experiences.
  • Environment & Climate Action – sustainability, global and local environmental issues, and community resilience.
  • Education – critical thinking, awareness, and learning.

All our work is grounded in local perspectives, connecting everyday realities in Cyprus to global challenges through research, storytelling, creative media, and grassroots mobilisation.
